What are insect repellent stickers?
Insect repellent stickers — sometimes called bug stickers, anti-mosquito stickers or mosquito stickers — are adhesive discs infused with citronella and complementary essential oils. You peel the backing, stick the sticker onto a t-shirt, hat, pram or bag, and the sticker slow-releases scent that insects find unpleasant.
Why people switch to bug stickers
The case is simple: no spray on skin, no smell of DEET, no greasy lotion, no leaks in your bag. Stickers go wherever you do, last 8–12 hours per patch, and don't count as a liquid in cabin baggage.
Bug stickers for adults
Adults love them for hiking, camping, gardening, festivals and Mediterranean holidays. Stick one on the front of your t-shirt, one on a sleeve, and one on a hat or backpack for layered coverage in heavy mosquito areas.
Insect stickers for kids
Bright, fun designs make bug stickers a parent's favourite. Children stick them on themselves, which solves the daily "stand still while I spray you" battle.
Anti-mosquito stickers for babies
For babies, stick onto pram hoods, baby grows (out of mouth reach), cot rails or muslins. Always read the age guidance on the pack.
What insects do they repel?
- Mosquitoes (primary target)
- Some midges and small flies
- Helpful in mixed-insect outdoor environments
